Pupil Wins ISA Essay Competition

Posted: 19th June 2020

Several Mount Kelly pupils recently entered the Independent Schools Association Favonius Essay Prize.

We are delighted to announce that first place in the Senior category was awarded to Tabitha, with her entry, Riches to Rags.

The examiner described Tabitha's essay as 'a piece that powerfully speaks to one of the key concerns of our time – the gap between the rich and poor, between the extreme wealth of “the 1%” and the struggle to survive of those less fortunate'. Well done, Tabitha!
