In line with Government guidance, those teachers and other members of staff who are in School providing remote learning and looking after the boarders and children of key workers, are all offered weekly lateral flow testing.
This week saw the second weekly testing clinic for staff, who were ably assisted through the process by Nurse Hannah, HSO Chris Watts and Matrons from Courtenay and Marwood. 49 staff were tested with the lateral flow testing system and fortunately everyone was negative.
The results submitted to the NHS are used to inform planners and policy makers about the spread of the virus. Everyone will be offered the test again next week and pupils returning to school are offered an initial Lateral Flow Test, with a follow up test between 3 – 5 days later.Categories: News
