It has been a busy week for the Music Department.
Musicians and singers in Years 2 to 6 gave a wonderful informal concert to family and friends in the Music Room on Tuesday 16 November. Performances included two violin duets, a saxophone, trumpet, flutes, guitarists, vocalists, pianists and even a drummer! Children as young as six took part and were rewarded with rapturous applause and a cake!
Musicians at the College gave a lovely lunchtime concert in Chapel on Thursday 18 November to a small but supportive audience. The programme comprised of:
- Andrew (xylophone): Tango, Jan Faulkner
- Jason (voice/guitar): And I Love Her, Lennon & McCartney
- Rosie (voice): Shenandoah, folk song
- Roman (piano): Allegro (4th Movement from Sonata in C), Pescetti
- Eric (voice/electric guitar): Don’t Look Back in Anger, Oasis
