On Thursday evening, Year 5 pupils performed a thought provoking, funny and informative play called A Load of Rubbish to family and friends in the Wortham Hall.
A wide range of ‘rubbish’ took to the stage to highlight the importance of recycling. The children performed their lines with aplomb with the imaginative costumes ensuring they could become totally immersed in character.
Well done to all of Year 5 for working so hard to learn their lines – the hard work and commitment was definitely worth it. Maybe in a few years, with all their awareness of environmental issues, some of these pupils could be winners of the Earthshot Prize!
