Sixth form pupils interested in careers in the legal profession participated in Court in Action yesterday which provides an introduction to the Criminal Justice System for young people in the South West.
Pupils conducted a mock trial in Plymouth Crown Court with law students from the University of Plymouth. They were also able to attend a live jury trial and question court staff about their roles.
Many thanks to the Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner for funding the Young Citizens Project and to Plymouth Crown Court staff for such an engaging experience.
