Much Ado About Nothing

Posted: 30th June 2023

Shakespeare’s well-known tragicomedy, Much Ado About Nothing, is a love story based on two families and soldiers returning from war in Messina. It includes sharp wit as well as disguise and deception. Last night it was performed in the Wortham Hall by Year 8. All four forms took on separate sections of the play and the different roles on stage, and behind the scenes tasks were also undertaken by the pupils. Key items of clothing and props helped to add continuity for the characters and the whole year group sang on stage between each of the class performances.
