Local Primary School delighted by Mount Kelly Robotics

Posted: 5th February 2015

Mount Kelly Robotics Club (Girls Team) had been invited to lead a series of robotics demonstrations to children from one of our local primary schools.

Ellie Stanyer, Jess Clinton, Imogen Allsop and Katy Miles were excellent with the children and made the demonstrations exciting, entertaining, rewarding and educational.

Teams of children from years 3 and 4 took part in building, programming and evaluating t he robots they made and had great fun playing a strategic game with the completed models.

The Headteacher was delighted by the response of her pupils who all said they thoroughly enjoyed their time and asked if we could return to teach their year 5 and year 6 students later in the year.
