Choral Academy

Music at Mount Kelly is something to be experienced, not simply studied, and our Choral Academy sits at the heart of that experience.

Open to pupils across the school, the Choral Academy brings together singers of all ages and abilities to rehearse and perform ambitious, large-scale works in a vibrant and supportive environment. It is a place where confidence grows, friendships are formed, and a shared love of music creates something truly special.

Throughout the year, pupils have the opportunity to perform a wide-ranging repertoire, from classical choral masterpieces to contemporary works, often accompanied by professional musicians. Performances take place both within the school and in the wider community, giving pupils the opportunity to work towards meaningful, high-quality productions.

The Mount Kelly Choral Academy provides an additional layer of musical enrichment, complementing the more specialised training of the Chamber Choir, offering an accessible and inspiring way to be part of something bigger.

Above all, the Choral Academy is about joy. It is about the collective sound, the discipline of rehearsal, the excitement of performance and the confidence that comes from standing together and creating something memorable.
