Kieran joined Mount Kelly in September 2026 as a Performance Swimming Coach, bringing more than 10 years of experience in competitive swimming as both an athlete and coach. Having competed at a national level, he understands first-hand the demands of competitive sport.
Before joining Mount Kelly, Kieran spent three years at the United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) in Singapore as Lead Swimming Coach, working across the development pathway and supporting swimmers from junior development through to junior international. Prior to this, he worked at Millfield School as Lead Swimming Coach working with both the development and performance programme.
Kieran holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and takes an evidence-based approach to coaching. His work focuses on technical development, physical preparation, and race performance, while maintaining a strong emphasis on the individual needs of each athlete. He believes sustained success is built through consistency, trust, and the creation of an environment where swimmers develop a clear understanding of their performance and take ownership of their progression.
At Mount Kelly, Kieran works within the Performance Swimming Programme, with a particular focus on helping swimmers maximise their potential and supporting the development of the next generation of competitive athletes.
