Peter joined Mount Kelly in the spring of 2026, coming from Teddington Swimming Club. During his time at Teddington, he grew from grassroots to Performance swimming, eventually transitioning to teaching and coaching, leading his own Performance Squad to County and Regional success and working closely with Development and National level swimmers.
Peter’s coaching drive stems from a lack of mentorship and understanding in his past. His strengths across academia, sports and performing arts resulted in high-expectations, pressure and a lack of direction. This led him to leave activities he once enjoyed, including swimming. He never wants that to happen to anyone else. Now he strives to nurture self-belief and mental strength, to build individuals up and guide them forward.
Besides coaching, Pete completed his Geography Degree at Royal Holloway University of London whilst carving out a career in journalism. He is an avid traveller and extreme sports enthusiast. He utilises his holistic understanding of the world, his Hungarian heritage and cultural experiences to inspire and educate with a goal to understand what makes an individual tick.
