Mount Kelly commenced the 2020 long course season over the weekend, with 32 swimmers competing in the Burns Open Meet in Sheffield. Our swimmers produced some remarkably strong performances; setting 53 personal best times, achieving 12 new Olympic Trials qualifying times and winning 20 Gold, 21 Silver and 15 Bronze medals in the process.
New Olympic Trials Qualifying Times were achieved by:
- Merissa – 200m Butterfly
- Joseph – 50m Breaststroke
- Ramy – 50m Backstroke & 100m Backstroke
- Hazal – 50m,100m & 200m Breaststroke
- Matthew – 100m & 200m Breaststroke
- Tom – 200m Backstroke
- Katelyn – 100m Butterfly
- Sam – 100m Breaststroke
