Our Year 10 Go4SET regional winners' project Eco Factory – Ocean Clean has been externally assessed by the British Science Association for the Silver Crest Award. The assessor felt that the standard was high enough to achieve a Gold Crest Award which is usually only awarded to Sixth Form entries.
Congratulations to Emily, Zara, Finlay, Dexter, Oscar and Oliver, whose project used a decommissioned oil rig in the Pacific ocean to collect and recycle plastic waste to export back to the mainland. This is an outstanding accomplishment for our pupils.
