What a kick-off to the 2023/24 season! It was a fantastic first open meet of the year with 56 Mount Kelly swimmers from across the school competing at the Plymouth Life Centre in days 1 and 2 of the Plymouth Annual Meet. Day 3 of the meet will be held on Sunday 15 October.
There was brilliant racing from all our swimmers, smashing short course PBs, making finals, winning medals and even a few trophies. As always, we enjoyed huge support from our parents and volunteers who helped team manage and officiate at the competition.
Meet highlights include:
- 11yr old Mount Kelly Record in the 100m Butterfly – India G (1:12:65)
- Women’s Open 100m Breaststroke Champion – Jasmine B
- Women’s Open 100m Butterfly Champion – Amicie V
- 61 gold medals, 51 silver and 27 bronze
