Pupils in Years 7 and 8 had a terrific time taking in the city and culture of Paris, and putting their French language skills to good use, on the half term Upper Prep French Trip.
After an early start on Thursday (23 May) – leaving school at 3am! – pupils spent their first full day in Paris having fun at Disneyland. Over the weekend they had the chance to explore the city, including enjoying a river cruise on the Seine. They also spent some time in the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries, where they saw Claude Monet’s The Waterlillies (or ‘Les Nymphéas’) at the Musée de l’Orangerie.
