The annual inter-house Mount Kelly Steeplechase took place at the Prep on Tuesday afternoon, and was followed this year by the introduction of a fun Colour Run to raise money for the School’s chosen charity, Children’s Hospice South West.
This new two-tier approach enabled pupils who wish to run competitively for their Houses to take part in a genuine steeplechase, featuring woods, open fields, and hill climbs, with every pupil’s effort counting towards the House Cup. Individual medals were also awarded to the top three boys and girls in each race. The Colour Run then offered all pupils the opportunity to take part in an inclusive and informal event with an emphasis on having fun!
