Children from Reception to Year 2 staged a wonderful Harvest Festival this afternoon, full of fabulous story-telling, harvest songs and a sea shanty. They spent several days preparing a feast for their guests, mixing and kneading dough to bake bread rolls, digging up their home-grown potatoes and preparing vegetables for the soup. All of the food donated in their fabulously-decorated Harvest shoe boxes will be delivered to Tavistock Foodbank.
Pupils at the Prep attended a special Harvest Festival assembly on Friday morning, also bringing in generous donations for the foodbank.
