CCF National Regatta

The CCF national regatta took place in Southport last week and featured two main events: the team race and the cup race, utilising the Fusion dinghy for single-handed sailing and the Argo for double-handed sailing.

In the Fusion race, Grace and Alfred represented Mount Kelly. Grace performed exceptionally well, achieving a top finish of fourth place with an average position of fifth. Alfred also showed commendable skill, securing his best finish at fifth and averaging sixth. Both sailors faced tough competition, racing against the national champions from across the UK and Ireland.

Jago helmed the boat in the Argo race, with Saul as crew . They made full use of the mainsail, jib, and spinnaker, achieving a highest finish of fourth and averaging sixth overall, another strong performance against a challenging field and battling a lack of wind to keep their boats moving.
