Over the summer, 13 pupils were fully sponsored by the Conway Merchant Navy Trust (CMNT) to participate in five Tall Ships Youth Trust voyages for their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award residential section.
Captain Mike Reeves from the CMNT visited Mount Kelly this week to watch the pupils present their experiences in assembly and presented them with maritime books as a lasting memory of their trips. We are very grateful to Captain Reeves and the CMNT for their continuing support of our pupils – we already have 11 pupils booked onto voyages for this summer and we are sure they will have an equally memorable time.
