International Women’s Day

International Women's Day Talk

Ahead of International Women’s Day tomorrow, pupils at the College welcomed guest speaker, Tracy Kirnig, to talk about her own story of action and empowerment. The Library has been turned purple for the occasion and pupils invited to show their support by wearing something purple or green.

Taking time for tea and cake, pupils have contributed to the creation of a timeline of Her-story, highlighting the achievements of women throughout the ages, and made pledge ‘selfies’ to show solidarity in recognition of IWD. This was followed by a women’s writing showcase, a display of seminal authors and their writing.
