Many congratulations to our Year 8 pupils and their teachers for a fantastic set of Common Entrance results. 30 of our Year 8 pupils sat up to 10 public examinations each last week and we are delighted that seven children – Clara, Charlotte, Anna, Louise, Fiona, Ruth and Javier – were each awarded 5 As or more with Fiona receiving A grades in 9 of her 10 subjects.
We are particularly proud that 40% of all the Maths papers were awarded an A grade as were the Spanish papers. 30% of History, Physics and Chemistry papers achieved A grades.
Pupils were given their grade cards following their return from the Year 8 Camp in Brecon this afternoon.
