Year 5 pupils performed a lovely evening of Fabulous Fables last night, hosted by Aesop.
A variety of talking animals took to the stage including a melancholy ox, some hungry mice, a harassed hare and a clever murder of crows.
The pupils had learnt their lines brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed bringing their respective characters to life. After each performance of an Aesop fable, a pupil read a fable they had written, demonstrating a wide range of vocabulary and excellent story telling skills.
A very entertaining night was had by all.
