Beyond Limits

cadets

We were thrilled to welcome Lt Lily-Mae Fisher RN to Mount Kelly on Friday afternoon.  As the only serving female in the Royal Navy to complete the All Arms Commando Course and one of just seven women ever to earn the coveted Royal Marines Green Beret, Lt Fisher embodies courage, determination, and excellence.  Not only is she a Royal Navy Pilot, but she’s also a member of the HMS Oardacious Atlantic rowing team 2024, a Great Britain age-group triathlete, and the owner of her own business.

During her visit, Lt Fisher spoke passionately to our Royal Navy CCF cadets, sharing her incredible experiences, insights, and life lessons. Her words left a profound impact, inspiring both our pupils and staff to push their limits and strive for greatness in all they do. “The body achieves what the mind believes” is a mantra that truly reflects her inspiring journey.

Thank you, Lt Fisher, for showing us what it means to break barriers and lead with resilience.
