Getting in the Christmas Spirit

The Christmas Concert season started with a wonderful Singers’ Concert in Chapel on Wednesday night. With the Christmas tree and fairy lights up, sparkly outfits, mulled wine and mince pies were the order of the evening, and the audience enjoyed super performances of songs from shows including Wicked! and Phantom of the Opera, as well as pop numbers All I want for Christmas is you and Feliz Navidad amongst many others.

On Thursday, five of our pupils wowed a specially-invited audience at the Christmas Tree Festival Preview in St Eustachius Church, with music including Beethoven’s Pathetique Sonata and Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.

All in all, a busy but very successful couple of days with lots more to come in the next fortnight – well done to all involved.
