Over the last two weekends, Mount Kelly swimmers have been busy competing in the City of Plymouth Annual Gala.
Our 27 swimmers (23 from the Prep and 4 from the College) performed extremely well, achieving 54 medals during the first weekend with a very young team, and reaching 7 of the 8 finals. The swimmers kept up their good form this weekend too, reaching both finals and winning a further 19 medals and bringing the total to 73.
Meanwhile, at the Swim England Inter-County Championships in Sheffield earlier in the month, Devon took a historic first victory captained by Mount Kelly’s very own Macy and supported by James, Imogen, Bella and Caoimhe. There were also brilliant performances from Leah (Middlesex), Hollie (Surrey), Olivia (Yorkshire), Ollie (Cornwall) and Tom (Sussex) with some huge personal best swims.
