Choosing courses for Sixth Form is rarely an easy task.
Last month we gave Year 11 pupils a chance to quiz subject leads about their A Level and BTEC courses at the Open Day, and today pupils were able to attend four ‘taster’ lessons to give them an idea of what to expect if they chose those subjects for Year 12. This opportunity to attend a Sixth Form style lesson was particularly important for those pupils considering new subjects such as Psychology or Economics, however it is to be hoped that they all gained a useful insight into what is ahead of them once they have completed their GCSEs.
