This week was Science Week in the Pre-Prep and the children have undertaken a wide range of experiments and investigations.
On Wednesday afternoon, the children visited the Science department at the College. They all thoroughly enjoyed testing different bubble mixtures in the Chemistry lab, learning about electric charges in Physics, and meeting the animals (including Hector the tortoise) in the Biology lab. They were kindly assisted by volunteers from Years 10 and 12.
Nursery pupils also learnt about chemical reactions with Miss Jones during a visit to the Science lab at the Prep. Reception class has studied magnets, built and tested boats, and investigated how many 'people' they could get on to the bridges they built.
