Mount Kelly Sixth Form pupils participated in the Oxford Global Model UN at the University of Oxford at the weekend.
They represented a diverse range of countries including Tanzania, Libya, Greece and Singapore, advocating for solutions to some of the biggest global challenges across several important committees, including the World Health Organization, European Court of Human Rights, Economic and Finance, and COP 28 climate change conference.
All pupils participated well in committee debates and resolutions. A particular mention goes to Joleen for her position paper advocating for carbon offsets in industry and to William for his speech in the European Court of Human Rights committee.
