Over the May half-term, pupils from Upper Prep enjoyed an unforgettable four-day trip to Paris, blessed with fantastic weather and plenty of sunshine throughout.

The visit began at the beautiful Musée de l’Orangerie, where pupils admired some of France’s most celebrated artworks. They also had the opportunity to explore the world-famous Champs-Élysées, soaking up the atmosphere of one of Paris’s most iconic avenues and enjoying a little shopping along the way.

One of the highlights of the trip was a boat cruise along the River Seine, offering a unique perspective of the city and its many famous landmarks. The itinerary also included an exciting day at Parc Astérix, where pupils made the most of the thrilling rides and water attractions in the warm weather.

Before heading home, no trip to France would have been complete without a visit to a French supermarket, where pupils stocked up on a variety of French treats and souvenirs for family and friends.

Throughout the trip, pupils were a credit to the school, demonstrating excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and a willingness to embrace new experiences. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to develop cultural understanding, practise French language skills and create lasting memories with friends.
